Altair ProductDesign Opens New Offices to Better Serve Aerospace Clients in the UK’s South West
Optimisation specialist, Paul Kirkham, joins Altair as team leader in the region
Altair Engineering Ltd, a leading global provider of technology and services that empowers client innovation and decision-making, announced today that Altair ProductDesign, the product development consultancy division of Altair, has opened a new Bristol office to improve services to clients throughout the South West of the UK. Optimsation specialist, Paul Kirkham has been appointed as the regional team leader of the new site and will be responsible for ensuring that local clients will gain access to the outstanding service levels synonymous with Altair ProductDesign.

Paul Kirkham comes to Altair having gained extensive experience of simulation driven design, finite element analysis (FEA) and optimisation within the automotive and aerospace industries. He has recently completed highly successful projects for GKN Aerospace, GE Aviation, Honeywell Aerospace and Jaguar Land Rover. In the automotive sector, he was instrumental in the Noise Vibration & Harshness (NVH) development of the Freelander2. Paul's appointment will enable Altair to further extend its client portfolio and provide a dedicated service for clients in the South West region.
